Barbera is one of the most famous and widespread Piedmontese grape varieties and it produces a very pleasant wine with an intense colour, clear scents of red fruit, flowers and just enough spice to make it intriguing.
It has marked but never aggressive tannins, a slender body and an incredible acidity, meaning that it is always crisp, even after ageing in wood.
