The visit to the winery is undoubtedly a sensory experience, which culminates in tasting, but is mainly empathic.
The winery’s young staff, who are professionally very competent and trained to answer all your questions, will fully involve you in the family philosophy: tradition, respect for nature, cultivation of native grapes, adoption of cultivation techniques that are sensitive to the territory.
The cellar conveys a sense of welcome, a homeliness associated with family roots and values. Visitors come here from all over the world and are able to enjoy sensations that are rarely found elsewhere nowadays: time slows down, the senses are heightened and everything relates strongly to contact with family, the traditions of the land and the passion that permeates our daily work.
Upon arrival at the cellar, visitors find themselves surrounded by oak barrels and barriques, listening to stories and curiosities about the Marrone family and their production. They are accompanied to the magnificent panoramic terrace where they can admire the beautiful landscape of the Langhe, taking in the vast expanse of vineyards and observing the splendour of the Barolo production zone.
The brief tour culminates with the possibility to sit down, enjoy the breath-taking view and begin tasting the wines, including our Barolo, the pride and joy of our production. Mamma Giovanna, with the valuable aid of chef Paolo Garabello, serves traditional Langhe dishes, paired with the estate’s wines. The proposals range from a simpler menu, which includes a selection of locally produced cheeses and cured meats, to complete meals featuring numerous courses. This is the perfect place to spend a few hours enjoying yourself in good company and in a warm and relaxing atmosphere.
