For four generations Agricola Marrone has run grandfather Pietro’s work, which is a guarantee of quality. Agricola Marrone is founded on making excellent wines that demonstrate the intense flavours of the Langhe area and are different from typical commercial styles. Agricola Marrone produces around 200.000 bottles per year, with the production increasing every year, thanks to production from new vines. Today the company vineyards are located in different positions, allowing us to grow different grape varieties (Arneis, Chardonnay, Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo, Barolo and Moscato) in the best soil and position. The oldest vineyards are 60 years old: the old vines allow Marrone to consistently produce wines of exceptional quality, with excellent ageing potential and traditional styles, thanks also to the traditional ways of working, first of all in the fields, where the harvesting is done manually, and there is no use of pesticides or chemicals, which are dangerous to the health and the environment. Furthermore, to avoid the use of preservatives, wines are bottled using special machinery that keeps the wine from any contact with oxygen within the bottle, avoiding oxidation and poor quality.
